Founded by Lee Hart & Danny Howe, they spent a combined 20+ years running some of the worlds largest payments businesses, Fiserv & WorldFirst.
Lee and Danny observed the changing shape of commerce; from the shifting trends in physical to digital retail and then the emergence of marketplaces and social commerce; the challenges for the modern merchant intensified.
As both grew frustrated with their inability to connect the dots in payments the acquisition of WorldFirst in 2019 by Alipay, led Danny to see that disconnected commerce was a western problem. They decided that between them, they would change that.
